ΠΡΟΣΚΛΗΣΗ ΣΥΜΜΕΤΟΧΗΣ

Με την παρούσα επιστολή μας, σας προσκαλούμε να συμμετέχετε στη διεξαγωγή του ΠΡΩΤΟΥ ΔΙΕΘΝΟΥΣ ΣΕΜΙΝΑΡΙΟΥ ΘΕΡΑΠΕΥΤΙΚΗΣ ΙΠΠΑΣΙΑΣ, που θα πραγματοποιηθεί από 30 Απριλίου έως και 4 Μαϊου 2012, στις εγκαταστάσεις του Νέου Ιππικού Κέντρου Silvaland Equestrian & Life Enrichment Centre, στην Κέρκυρα (Καλαφατιώνες).

Σκοπός του Σεμιναρίου είναι η εκπαίδευση των συμμετεχόντων και η προώθηση της υπεροχής στον τομέα της θεραπείας με τη συμβολή των ιππικών δραστηριοτήτων.

Επιπλέον, η ποιοτική βελτίωση και ο εμπλουτισμός της ζωής των ατόμων με αναπηρία.

Στη Θεραπευτική Ιππασία το άλογο λειτουργεί ως φίλος, θεραπευτής και εκπαιδευτής, καθότι συμπεριφέρεται στον άνθρωπο με υπομονή και ευαισθησία. Επιπρόσθετα, με τη συμμετοχή του στη διαδικασία, το άλογο εμπνέει και εμπλουτίζει τον ανθρώπινο νου.

Το Σεμινάριο στοχεύει

· στην προώθηση της Θεραπευτικής Ιππασίας στην Ελλάδα και ειδικότερα στην Κέρκυρα,

· στην υποκίνηση των επαγγελματιών διαφόρων ειδικοτήτων να ξεκινήσουν μια καριέρα στον τομέα της Θεραπευτικής Ιππασίας,

· στην επισήμανση του ρόλου της ομαδικής συνεργασίας επαγγελματιών διαφορετικών ειδικοτήτων στην εκπαίδευση/διαχείριση ατόμων με αναπηρία και

· στην έμφαση στη σπουδαιότητα της επικοινωνίας και της αλληλεπίδρασης ασθενούς/πελάτη, αλόγου, εκπαιδευτή/θεραπευτή και περιβάλλοντος.

ΓΙΑΤΙ ΝΑ ΠΑΡΑΚΟΛΟΥΘΗΣΩ ΤΟ ΣΕΜΙΝΑΡΙΟ;

1. Για την εξαιρετική ποιότητα, διεθνή καταξίωση και εμπειρία καθώς και τον επαγγελματισμό όλων των εισηγητών

2. Το Σεμινάριο θα προσφέρει μία ευρεία προοπτική στην εμπειρία της Θεραπευτικής Ιππασίας μέσα από το ευρύ φάσμα των θεμάτων διδασκαλίας των εισηγητών, όπως ψυχολογία, λογοθεραπεία, φυσικοθεραπεία, εξειδικευμένη ιππασία κ.λπ.

3. Με την ολοκλήρωση του Σεμιναρίου, θα δοθεί Δίπλωμα, στο οποίο θα διευκρινίζονται οι επιμέρους ενότητες που θα περιλαμβάνει. Επιπλέον, οι συμμετέχοντες θα έχουν την δεξιότητα και τις γνώσεις προκειμένου να γίνουν μέλη σε Ομάδες Θεραπευτικής Ιππασίας.

4. Οι συμμετέχοντες θεραπευτές θα αποκτήσουν την ικανότητα να παραπέμπουν τους ασθενείς τους στην κατάλληλη, ανάλογα με την περίπτωση, μορφή Θεραπευτικής Ιππασίας. Οι συμμετέχοντες-μη θεραπευτές θα μπορούν να συστήνουν επιπρόσθετους τρόπους θεραπείας στα άτομα που την έχουν ανάγκη.

5. Οι γονείς παιδιών με προσωρινή ή μόνιμη αναπηρία, θα κερδίσουν επιπλέον κατανόηση και γνώση της πρόκλησης, όπως προκύπτει για τα παιδιά τους και τους ίδιους, μέσα από την ανακάλυψη περισσότερων πιθανοτήτων βελτίωσης και μιας καλύτερης ζωής.

6. Για τον καθένα που έχει ειδικότερο ενδιαφέρον για τον υπέροχο κόσμο των αλόγων, η συμμετοχή στο σεμινάριο αυτό θα ενισχύσει κατά μεγάλο βαθμό τη γνώση και την κατανόηση της σχέσης ανθρώπου-αλόγου.

7. Λόγω της μεθοδολογίας του Σεμιναρίου, οι συμμετέχοντες θα καρπωθούν τη «σοφία» των αλόγων, κάτι που δεν θα μπορούσε να συμβεί διαφορετικά μέσα σε τόσο σύντομο χρονικό διάστημα.

Διάρκεια και Μέθοδος Σεμιναρίου

Η διάρκεια του Σεμιναρίου είναι 5 ημέρες – σύνολο 40 ώρες

Εισηγητές

Ø Ana Paula Nobrega – Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist – Brazil.

§ She is a pioneer in Brazil of “Equoterapia”, which provides speech-language treatment and evaluation using the treatment strategy of hippotherapy. She is the founder and President of the “Centro Elohim de Equoterapia – CEEQ”, Recife-Pernambuco;

§ Her previous experience as a speech-language pathologist includes Hospitals and Clinical & Rehabilitation Centers, as well as Early Intervention services care for premature babies using the “kangaroo Mother Strategy” and Rehabilitation Centers in the specialty of pediatric neurology and neuropsychiatry;

§ 2000 – Formation in Neuro-Developmental Treatment – NDT – Bobath Concept;

§ 2002 – Facilitation Course of Biomechanics – Recycling Bobath Concept with Lois Bly – EUA;

§ 2003 – Specialization in Language Sciences at the Federal University of Pernambuco – UFPE;

§ 2006 – Master Degree in Language Sciences at Lumière Lyon 2 University – France;

§ 2011 – Doctor Degree in Linguistics at Federal University of Paraiba – UFPB and Université Paris III – Sorbonne Nouvelle.

Ø Franklin Levinson – Horse Whisperer & Trainer – Clinician in Equine Facilitated Learning – USA

§ He has been a professional horseman for nearly 50 years;

§ He has always taught success with horses as a life enriching process for both horse and human;

§ He was an outfitter and wilderness guide at his ranch on the Island of Maui for 30 years, along the way creating The Maui Horse Whisperer experience. This was the first Equine Facilitated Learning – EFL program in the Pacific basin.

§ 2004 – He was credited in “Your Horse Magazine”, UK’s premier equine magazine, as being the first person to introduce EFL for children with a learning disability to the UK.

§ 2005 – He was also credited as the first person to bring EFL for children with a learning challenge to Australia. He founded the Australia Equine Facilitated Learning Pty. Ltd. (AEFL);

§ For many years he taught his brand of gentle, effective horsemanship (Beyond Natural Horsemanship, Successful Training through Compassion, Wisdom, Skill and Trust) and EFL in seven countries per year;

§ For over 25 years Franklin has been internationally published in various media outlets on the topics of horse training and Equine Facilitated Learning.

Ø Gisela Heimsath-Rodhes – Interactive Vaulting Riding Instructor – Germany/USA

· She earned her Master’s Degree in Education in Germany, where she was born;

· Certified Advanced Therapeutic Riding and Vaulting Instructor – PATH International;

· Qualified Centered Riding © Instructor Level 1;

· Pennsylvania Qualified Instructor – Master Level – PA Council for Therapeutic Horsemanship;

· 1992 – She co-founded with her husband White Oak Farm, a boarding stable with able bodied and therapeutic riding and vaulting lessons;

· She served six years on the board of the Equine Facilitated Mental Health Association, USA;

· Three years on the board of The Federation of Riding for the Disabled International – FRDI;

· Now the Executive Director of HETI – The Federation of Horses in Education and Therapy International;

· She has an international reputation for her expertise in the world of therapeutic riding and interactive vaulting;

· In her riding and vaulting workshops/lessons she principles with Yoga techniques on and around thecombines the Centered Riding horse;

· Her book, “Hello Bob”; a collection of 50 games can be utilized by therapeutic or traditional riding instructors to facilitate their students’ development through creative interaction with horses and others. She also co-wrote “Fitting In – A Horse’s Tale”.

Ø Irene Kapari – Licensed Physical Therapist and Therapeutic Riding Instructor – Greece

§ She is the Executive Director of the Hellenic Association for Therapeutic Riding – ELETHIP;

§ 2002 – Graduated as a Physical Therapist – Athens University;

§ 2003 – Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor – Clwyd Special Riding Centre – Wales;

§ 2003 – Became a National Para-Equestrian Classifier for riders with special needs in Para-Equestrian competitions;

§ 2006 – Certified Bobath Therapist – Neuro Developmental Treatment;

§ 2008 – Qualified Therapeutic Riding Instructor – German Kuratorium for Therapeutisches Reiten with Marietta Schultz;

§ 2011 – Special Olympics Hellas Coach for the equestrian team in the Special Olympics World Summer Games – Athens;

§ 2012 – Became a FEI Riding Instructor for able bodied riders;

§ Irene works with disabled children for the last ten years, as a physical therapist and as a therapeutic riding instructor;

§ She has made many presentations until now at annual physical therapy and occupational therapy conferences in Greece;

§ She is a dressage athlete and participates in national and international competitions.

Ø Luciana Palavitsinos – Licensed Physical Education Teacher and Therapeutic Riding Instructor – Brazil/Greece.

§ She is the coordinator of the Therapeutic Horsemanship and Recreational Equestrian programs at the Silvaland Equestrian & Life Enrichment Centre;

§ From 1993 until 1998 she worked in public schools teaching children and teenagers. She used the field of psychomotricity, as the basis of their learning;

§ From 1999 until 2008 she worked as a member of the multi-professional team for the Brazilian National Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship (Associação Nacional de Equoterapia ANDE-BRASIL). In this association, she taught people with special needs and also trained various professionals (education, health and riding fields) for a career in equine assisted therapy;

§ 2000 – She participated in a professional exchange program sponsored by the Rotary International Foundation, visiting Therapeutic Riding Centers in the USA and Canada;

§ 2003 – Certified as a Brazilian Therapeutic Riding Instructor – “ANDE-BRASIL”;

§ 2004 – Specialized in Therapeutic Horsemanship at the Yamanashi University of Kofu in Japan, on the biomechanics of the horse’s gait.

Ø Ute Hesse – Psychologist – Germany/Brazil

· 2003 – Graduated in Psychology at the University of Sao Francisco – Itatiba, Sao Paulo;

· Currently studying for Master’s Degree in Psychological Evaluation at the University of Sao Francisco – Itatiba, Sao Paulo;

· 2005 – Founder of the “Passo a Passo” Institute in Itatiba, Sao Paulo with five years of experience in Equine-Facilitated Psychotherapy;

· 2006 – Became a board member of the Brazilian National Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship (Associação Nacional de Equoterapia ANDE-BRASIL) in Advanced Instructors Courses;

· 2009 – Founder of the EquoHesse Center, where she utilizes a psychotherapeutic approach with the horse as a facilitator. She also works with corporative training and presentations, having the horse as the main promoter of personal development;

· 2010 – Became a coordinator of the Technical Enhancement Course – “Psychotherapeutic Intervention in Equotherapy” at the Brazilian National Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship;

· Ute is also very experienced in the horse’s ethology.

Ø Cristina Rocha – Art Therapist – Brazil

· 1977 – She began her studies, doing pottery at “Heloisa Alvim” for two years.

· 1985 – Attended “Afranio Montemurro” and “Akemi Cecilia” at Studio Earth & Fire, from where she got inspiration to design her own studio, Taua Ceramics and Glass.

· She studied glass at the Space Zero with “Elvira Schuartz” in São Paulo.

· Since the assembly of her Studio, she has developed a work in ceramics and glass, shown in several exhibitions in Brazil and abroad.

· 2001 – Participated in the International Workshop of Ceramic Art of Tokoname – IWCAT Tokoname, Japan, where she represented Brazil.

· 2002 – She returned to Japan after the invitation of Kioegama Galery, in Tokoname, to attend the exhibition of international artists at the Festival of Tokoname pottery.

· Cristina has developed, over the years, an outreach work of art being a founder of the Village of the Arts Fair in Sousas, Campinas, Sao Paulo. The Atelie Sousas offers regular courses in ceramic at high and low temperatures, electric and manual lathe.

· 2004 – Founder the Fair Trails Art Joaquim Egidio.

· 2009 – The beginning of the partnership between Art Therapy and Equine-Facilitated Psychotherapy;

2010 – Specialized in Art Therapy at University of Campinas – Unicamp – Sao Paulo and founded the Space Art-Therapeutic Taua.

Το κόστος Συμμετοχής στο Σεμινάριο ανέρχεται σε 350 Ευρώ (συμπεριλαμβάνεται ο ΦΠΑ).Το κόστος συμμετοχής ειδικά για Φοιτητές μειώνεται στα 280 Ευρώ.Το ποσό συμμετοχής συμπεριλαμβάνει τη μεταφορά από/προς τη Silvaland από τα ξενοδοχεία διαμονής των συμμετεχόντων και 2 διαλείμματα καφέ ημερησίως.

Προαιρετικά, η Silvaland παρέχει στους συμμετέχοντες ένα (1) γεύμα ημερησίως με συνολική χρέωση για τις 5 ημέρες του Σεμιναρίου 30 Ευρώ.

Οι συμμετέχοντες μπορούν να παρακολουθήσουν και «Σεμινάριο μίας ημέρας» για κάποιο συγκεκριμένο μέρος του Προγράμματος που τους ενδιαφέρει. Στην περίπτωση αυτή το κόστος συμμετοχής διαμορφώνεται σε 100 Ευρώ.
